Rules for SureDesk™ Passwords
For safety and security there are rules for the passwords you need to access your SureDesk™ and SureFiles™.
Password must meet complexity requirements
- Not contain your user account or parts of your full name that exceed two consecutive characters.
- Be at least six characters in length.
- It must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- English uppercase characters (A through Z)
- English lowercase characters (a through z)
- A number (0 through 9)
- Non-alphabetic characters (for example: !,$,#,%)
Maximum password age
- The password can not be older than 90 days. After 90 days have past you will be prompted to change the password.
- You can not reuse old passwords that you have recently used.
